Meet the Crestmont Staff

Dr. Brown began his Christian life on Easter Sunday in 1983 and several years later, God called him to become a pastor. He is married to Deb and has two children. He worked as a youth minister while completing his education and has served as pastor in three churches over the last twelve years. He came to Crestmont, July of 2009.

Dr. Brown has degrees from Dallas Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His doctoral work focused on contemporary culture and the postmodern generations, and how the church must not only understand and reach this culture in the context of unchanging theology and doctrine, but provide experiences that will develop active, growing Christian leaders for today and the future.

The messages Dr. Brown has been bringing reflect a strong commitment to Biblical truth. He will be working this year with Crestmont leaders and members to continue relevant church programs, events, experiences and community relationships as Crestmont Baptist Church seeks to be a positive and effective influence in our society.

Sue Carroll is our Pastor and Administrative Secretary. She is married to MYles Carroll and has three adult children and five grandchildren. She has been serving Crestmont since July of 1990. She has been a business woman and her skills have been vital to the pastors and committees of our church. She has a heart for people and a great love for the ministry of Crestmont. If there is something you need to know, she most likely has the information.

Michele Barrington is wife to Justin and mother of three daughters. She was saved at the age of 14 and grew up at Crestmont Baptist. Michele has always had a love for children and was called to serve in this ministry at age 16. She worked for the Burleson School District before she came on staff as part time (what's that mean?) Director of Preschool and Children's Ministries in 2007. She has been instrumental in the remodel of our children's area as well as the growth in our children's ministry within and outside the walls of the church.

Pam joined our staff as a part-time church secretary in October of 2007. She is the wife of Leslie Tatum, the mother of four and a grandmother. She is the first face you see when you visit our church office and she exhibits the true excitement and personality of Crestmont.

Pam says, "I joined Crestmont because it just felt like home!"

Pam has a definite gift when it comes to communicating prayer requests. Often, she writes out a specific, heart-felt prayer with the request. Her written prayers just seem to lift us to God's throne.
